That's not supposed to happen to me!

Updated: Dec 16, 2021

It only took fourty six years for me to let go of expectations and outcomes, how things 'Should or Ought to be'. A sense of liberation and lightness ensued. Learning to lean into life and go with the flow brightens our path and lightens the load. Embracing the unpredictability of life offers opportunity for more fun and excitement too. It's our resistance to what is that brings undue stress. Learning to let go is easy to practice. It's building a new mental muscle that supports our wellbeing. The more you practice the easier it is and more effective the result. Consider practicing this technique a few times a day and observe how you feel.

Mindfulness Practice:

I love the breathing technique 'As I breathe in I do my best, As I breathe out I let go of the rest'. Everytime I practice this I feel so much lighter. How does it make you feel?

Coaching Question:

Where in my life can I go with the flow a bit more?

How would this impact my life?

Have a super week.

Sue
